Pros
Stable and comfortable for most people
Nice campus, working environment - just next to the scenic Bedok Reservoir
Predictable workload - given almost everything runs based on the yearly academic calendar
Work-Life Balance (depends on who your boss is, and which department you work in)
Kontras
Very centralized decision making, usually based on the Principal. I believe the new Principal has a more autonomous approach so things could be better now (since mid 2016).
Unexciting - tends to take the "safe" or "proven" route (follow what we did before-approach)
"Do-things-right" over the "Do-the-right-thing" culture
Progression and promotions are non-existent for most, and slow for others (even the hi-po talent takes forever to get to something like Section Head or Manager)
