      Tandem Transport is a well established flatbed carrier with an impressive and diverse group of customers. Family matters at Tandem and the company culture reflects their values. Tandem truly respects and recognizes their Professional Drivers. Most everything they do revolves around serving the needs of their Professional Drivers and valued customers.

      Kontras

      The trucking industry is extremely competitive and Driver turnover is a very difficult challenge for even the best carriers to overcome. High turnover industry wide makes it tough to retain Drivers long enough so that they can realize the value of working for companies, like Tandem, long term.

      Pros

      Dedicated team that is committed to serving the needs of their Professional Drivers, valued customers and each other. The facilities are well maintained and the people are friendly and helpful.

      Kontras

      Driver turnover challenges the entire industry and at times can negatively impact safety and service. Tandem's retention rates are better than most but there's always room to improve. Quality of life is important and getting Drivers home weekly to spend quality time with family is paramount.

      Pros

      Tandem has a great work/life balance. The company will work with employees personal time as much as possible. Lots of cross training that makes it easy to schedule time off when you work together.

      Kontras

      It is nearly impossible to move up in the company. Everything feels like a secret. Especially in regards to salary and future plans. Salary is stagnant.
