Pros

You'll learn a lot. For the most part Syscon tries to stay with the times the IT staff was great when I was there. Free lunches and you'll get experience

Owner is too involved in the day to day, turnover is insane and you'll know why if and when you are hired to work for Syscon. The Owner and her son are too involved in things they do not understand nor do they give trust to Management staff to solve. Instead you are running around having to answer Cathy for every thing big or small while expected to maintain client satisfaction and expectations. it's too much. It's not worth the drama and besides the owners son will always be opting for the Argentina IT staff can handle it. If you want a job that has good work/life balance and no drama this is NOT the place for you.

We are so saddened to see this review. We have wonderful teams and an excellent NPS from our clients. We have weathered the pandemic coming out stronger than ever, having banded together to keep our clients up and running - it has been a difficult two years for all of us. What we do is not for everyone. As we change our technology offerings, it has been stressful on our team. We will continue to keep open dialogue with all the techs and continue to make improvements.

Can be a little overwhelming learning to document your time when first learning the processes in place at first, but the systems in place do have a logic.

The majority of the people you work with are fantastic.

Management has no clue as to how unfair and unbalanced they or their views are. The techs are asked to work/travel through their lunch hours, and if they don;t get to eat or want more time - they are advised to start early or stay late. They expect all of their employees - except for family and the two administrative people - to work at least 45-50 hours per week, and if they do not - they are reprimanded. However, management thinks this is not only fair, but also generous. Watch out though - salary here definitely does not work both ways. Even if you work over 40 hours that week - if you leave before 5 pm, they will take out vacation or personal time for it. During the interview process, they will tell you they do not micro-manage, but then you will have 15 plus emails in an hour asking about what you are doing.

We constantly strive to balance the needs and emergencies of our clients with our technical staff. Through regular meetings and anonymous input options, we regularly request suggestions and input from our staff, and we're committed to keep this up.
