Pros
The owners have a pretty good handle on how to manage their staff. I was able to do pretty much anything needed to get my consulting career going. Scheduling my time was pretty easy through a scheduler. I had plenty of work due to the legwork that I did to make sure I was not going to loose out and get laid off.
Kontras
The owners are a bit gun-shy on going after customers. There really is no competent sales staff that could keep the business flowing. Even though the owners asked our opinions on what we could do to increase revenue in the 2 additional years that I was there none of the ideas that came out at our meeting were implemented and they wondered why they were still in the same situation financially. When asked to have an increase in wage because I went from bottom consultant to in the top 3 I was told he couldn't afford that.
