Pros

Healthcare is provided for part-time employees. It is minimal, but it is better than nothing and feels more secure through the workplace in the current climate; lots of support, which is a pro and con. My fellow CBTs are my favorite group of people I've worked with in this field, hands down. The Clinical Director at my location is overall very laid back and easy to get along with. Work-life balance is better than I've experienced in previous clinic. Schedulers work hard to make sure you don't lose hours during cold and flu seasons or holiday seasons due to client absences.

Kontras

Some processes seem cumbersome, for example, the time off request process. The company has an app, but some things aren't in their policy or training, such as how to use sick leave (required in my state). My particular region feels overly micro-managey and if we hear anything from regional supervisors, it is usually to tell us we are doing something wrong. Having a lot of support is good, but it has been extremely overwhelming on some days due to being given different feedback from multiple people during the same week, which feels like a lot of pressure and leads to confusion. Especially without hearing much positive feedback, and I say this as someone with 7 years of experience in the field.

Pros

The company's products help people in meaningful ways

Kontras

Company is very poorly misled. There isn't a real vision or culture. In general, ways of working here are scattered and immature. We have a new SDLC every 10 months or so. Constant re-orgs and changes in leadership cause instability. Teams and ICs are re-allocated every 3–6 months. Priorities are constantly shifting. "Science will win" except when it comes to evaluating AI's place in our product. Sudden AI focus despite not having a real vision for how it aligns with our mission. Leaders who report directly to the CEO often cycle out every year or so. There seems to be very little awareness or ownership that leaders aren't set up for success. The company says it cares about employee "thriving" but promotes leaders with very poor scores. It seems to be more of a vanity metric/tool to fire people.
