The company talks a lot about valuing diversity, enabling females, and striving to do the right thing. However, it's latest round of layoffs, driven by a reactive and out of touch leadership team, picked employees who were not favorites or well connected to those in power, citing "redundancy" as its reasons, but sparing many others who are high earners not who add limited value to the organization. They also did their layoffs a week before Thanksgiving, and the amount of people selected was so inconsequential to the company's bottom line, it felt like a senseless massacre of the self-esteem of the dedicated employees they chose to eliminate.
