Pros

While working for Sharp BancSystems, I received a lot of good experience: exposure to different network setups and various technologies. Met some very knowledgeable co-workers. Company did pay for various certifications, mostly so they could maintain a Gold Partner status with Microsoft but some employees did benefit from the classes. No shortage of projects, you probably wouldn't be bored here.

Kontras

Understaffed - for several years the tech and developer areas were constantly understaffed and overworked. The workload meant several projects got pushed back until something became mission critical or a customer complained too much. Only then would it become a priority again. Certain customers received preferential treatment, as did certain employees. Upper management did not really seem to take anything that the employees said to heart and seemed to actively try to run off some of the employees.
