Poor flexibility with hybrid schedule - if you’re sick don’t expect to be able to work from home on non-work from home days. The option is to work from the office sick or use PTO.
Poor willingness to protect disabled employees’ privacy for even moderate accommodations - recently with the change of the work from home flexibility the company now requires doctors note requesting accomodations for any reason you may need additional work from home days but also for in office accommodations like use of the one and only wellness room in our office where you can deal with medical needs. Every other privacy room (including that one) are now lactation only rooms. Divulging my entire medical history to my employer is not acceptable.
Can be overwhelming in some areas when they refuse to increase staff that’s left the company and instead just reduce the number of people in a unit.
You are expected to be willing to take on additional corporate projects with your work.
