Pros

I've been reading a lot of these reviews and am curious if they were written by anyone who actually stepped into SEER's doors as an employee. Sure, the pressure to perform is high. Yes, the company is going through growing pains and is in the process of solidifying a structure. Honestly though, I've never worked in an environment where I have been given so much freedom to RUN and DO. SEER gives you the chance to think creatively, come up with solutions and grow in ways most other companies wouldn't allow. There is constant knowledge sharing with the entire team; whether you've been here 3 weeks or 3 years you can feel comfortable contributing and can be sure to learn something valuable. The hours are flexible, there's no punching a clock. From the day you start you have unlimited vacation time...and if people aren't taking advantage of that, that's on them. The team is insanely supportive, so there's always someone willing to help you out while you take time off. Health benefits are almost 100% covered by SEER. Nobody looks at you cross-eyed if you come in at 10 or 11am or leave at 3pm; you're trusted to work your own schedule and get things done. There are way more positives than negatives and it's a shame to see some of the garbage posted here.

Kontras

If you're not a self starter, this probably isn't the place for you. As I mentioned above, there's a lot of pressure to perform with very little micro-management so it's really up to you how well you do here. The company is in a growth phase which brings a lot of change; this is a time where processes are being figured out, training is being improved - they're getting there, but if you want a place where everything is figured out and formalized, again...probably not the place for you.

Pros

Seer is made for a very specific type of person: Smart, caring, organized, and collaborative. If you fit here, you REALLY fit. I will admit, the negative reviews had me a bit apprehensive, but I cannot emphasize this enough: You don’t know you’ll like or dislike something unless you give it a chance. And, you should give Seer a chance. You might just learn something incredible. Because of this, I’m over the moon I chose Seer. - exceptional benefits / pay / bonus structure connected to incentivized engagement - brilliant people who care and want to help - unlimited PTO that you’re encouraged to use - Office politics and all that other stuff is not tolerated; the company has some of the best culture I’ve been a part of in a long time - the work can be difficult, but only for short bursts, most of the time it is (75% of the month) straightforward work and innovation. One week will be hectic and then it’s smooth sailing. A very good balance. I used to be overworked every single day. Not here. Managers are here to support you. First company I’ve been at in over a decade where this is the case.

Kontras

None at this time! I would say the first 90 days is a learning curve, then it gets exponentially easier. And, everyone answers your questions in the blink of an eye.

Pros

- Remote work - Unlimited PTO (although they question how much you take and what for) - Good experience to add to your resume/good client experience - Some of the people are really hardworking, friendly, and supportive - Strong investment in AI

Kontras

- Very little to no processes for an established agency - Culture of fear, over surveillance, and performative accountability. Feedback is out of control. Your work is constantly picked at in the name of "growth" whether you're a leader or individual contributor. There is no creativity or flexibility in the way things are done - Write ups and terminations are used as a performance solution instead of investing in an individual's development and fostering psychological safety - Accounts are not properly staffed which causes the team lead to take on majority of the work on top of an already heavy workload. Junior account managers should not be managing Enterprise accounts - Very heavy and demanding workload; 10-12 hour days are very normal at Seer. By the time I moved on, I was 100% allocated to clients while managing a direct team of 5 - Low team morale that was often blamed on the team leads, even when we were doing everything to help our teams
