Even post initial COVID lockdowns working from home was strongly discouraged and specific reasons were required if WFH was to be granted. Salary was always below industry standard and assurances of salary adjustment were delayed continually. CEO made many arbitrary decisions against informed advice and had extreme micromanagement tendencies.
