Quando sono entrato in Satispay, non mi sarei mai aspettato un ambiente così vecchio stampo e disorganizzato. All'esterno, l'azienda si presenta bene con slogan come "be responsible, be smart, unicorno italiano ecc", ma la realtà è molto diversa. Una volta assunti, vi ritroverete nella cosiddetta accademy, dove vi verranno assegnati obiettivi irraggiungibili, e coloro che andranno meno peggio saranno licenziati all'improvviso, talvolta prima della scadenza dei due mesi di prova, creando un'instabilità totale. Vi verrà richiesto di effettuare esplicitamente 100-150 chiamate al giorno, come in un vero e proprio call center. Sarete costantemente controllati per il numero di chiamate, contratti firmati, presenza online, ecc. Non sarà possibile lavorare in modalità smart working fino al termine della prova (e anche dopo, vi chiederanno di essere sempre presenti fisicamente in ufficio). Una volta superata la prova, entrerete a far parte di un team guidato da un TL promosso unicamente in base all'anzianità e non alla competenza. Il lavoro sarà estremamente monotono e non verranno mai effettuate promozioni se non dopo 2-3 anni, e quando le prestazioni diminuiranno (cosa inevitabile dopo 100 chiamate al giorno), sarete sottoposti a un PIP e, nel giro di un mese, sarete out. After reading several reviews here, I felt that many of the more negative ones don’t really reflect the experience within the tech and engineering areas. From my perspective, it has been one of the best places to work at. The atmosphere is supportive and collaborative, with plenty of opportunities to take ownership and responsibility. Growth is absolutely possible, and when you contribute, it gets recognized. Compensation is also a standout point — for the Italian market, it’s genuinely top-tier. Since I’ve joined, I’ve consistently seen the right decisions being made — from building strong teams and bringing in the right engineering managers to making solid product direction choices. It gave me confidence in the organization and its long-term vision. Workload-wise, at least in tech, the culture is balanced: challenging when needed, but definitely not overwhelming like mentioned in other reviews. Overall, if you work in engineering or product, I would genuinely recommend this company. My experience has been excellent, and the environment has allowed me to grow, contribute, and work with great people.

As with any company, the experience depends on team and manager. One thing to note is that, after some time, the pace of technical hard-skill growth can slow down. The environment is great for ownership, autonomy, and impact, but it’s not the place where your technical ramp-up stays as fast as in the first years.
