Old ways at the corporate level not working - FP&A bei Safeway: Mitarbeiterbewertung

I have never been in a company that had so many layers of VP's. It is beyond ridiculous. For a company that is embedded in the Bay Area, their management style is so un-dynamic and so un-progressive. The "old" mentality of "do as I say, not as I do" is alive and well here. They don't retain talent here because they harbor a sense of mediocrity. It's unfortunate, because I actually enjoy shopping at Safeway, it's just the management level that is failing deeply.
