It is a very exciting company to work for, you learn a lot, and you get to meet people from all over the world, and travel as well. In addition, Schlumberger is VERY well respected in the oil industry, and success here will open many doors for you.

You work a LOT. New employees can work up to 300 days per year, and the hours are long. Variable schedules also make it difficult to schedule activities outside of work and to see your family.
