You’re not working bedside, customers were fun!

Constant policy changes from money hungry corporate members, not DEI friendly at all, they don’t care that a lot of their jewelry that’s “solid gold” tarnishes… everything is extremely over priced. Not all nurses are good at piercing but Rowan doesn’t care as long as they make their money… I’ve had to fix peircings from nurses in other studios that were literally done through the smallest thinnest layer of skin. If you don’t fit their image you’re not going to get appreciated even if you are amazing at your job. Honestly as a nurse you’d be better off working aesthetics or something.

-learning a new skill was probably the only pro if I’m being honest

-no work life balance -when I would voice my concerns about how business was being ran I would get shut down -I was the only nurse working in the shop, higher management did NOT care what so ever -I was told that I made the most tips in the district, to which I responded at what cost (because I didn’t have any days off and I was mentally drained!) I was then told “well your bank is benefiting from it but not your mental health isn’t!” with a laugh as if that was funny and my mental health is something to play with. -they make it seem like they care about clients but they don’t (the company) some nurses might really care and then some just want the tip IF they get one
