Pros
The only pro is that I finally left, and my health is already getting better.
Kontras
Where do I even begin? Management, both direct and upper, offer zero support. You're treated like a machine, expected to meet sky-high demands with no recognition or appreciation. Managers don’t get involved in daily tasks. They sit in the back office, arranging their own convenient shifts while shifting all the workload onto you. If they can’t find cover, you’ll be expected to work 12-hour shifts, regardless of your availability. Lone trading has become a routine, and there’s nothing you can do about it. They keep opening new stores without hiring new staff, so if you’re thinking of joining, be prepared to suffer. Taking any concern to HR or upper management is a waste of time, they’ll try to cover it up or brush it aside. You won’t be heard, just made to feel like the problem. Being a supervisor here feels like being pulled in every direction. You’re expected to act as a manager, a sales advisor, and everything in between, but when things go wrong, you’re the one blamed. This job affected my mental health. I started dealing with anxiety, and even on days off, I was expected to answer calls and deal with requests. There's no respect for work-life balance. When requesting annual leave, they act like they're doing you a favor, ask you to find your own cover, and guilt-trip you for taking time off. Meanwhile, management can bend the rules whenever it suits them. The double standards, lack of empathy, and unrealistic expectations wore me down. I'm genuinely relieved I left. My mental and physical health are already improving. I do not recommend this company to anyone. My experience here was damaging, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same.
