Kontras
- Workload is far too large. One person is expected to manage an entire NPI/MPI project on their own, plus sustaining the existing product with no support from their seniors. -Management are always absent, permanently tied up in meetings leaving the team to fend for themselves. - New team members and interns/graduates are left on the side with no designated mentor, onboarding or plan during their time in the department. -Low pay for the area and industry. -Hyrbid working is initially offered but you’re made to feel like a terrible person should you invoke your right to use it. -Very poor culture, management shout down to you and make you feel tiny. -HR are not there for the staff, they are there to ensure a compliant workforce. Managers who bully staff get directorships and people who complain get shunned and encouraged to leave by offering no further development or salary increases. -Stagnant long serving staff who resent the business and any change. Think of a 1980’s office. -Unhelpful colleagues -German head office makes very strange decisions on budgeting, causing stagnation in innovation and a very unmotivated workforce who are encouraged to ‘continually improve’ -Time wasting is designed in by policy. Many many issues could be fixed and customer satisfaction could be enhanced, by spending a small amount, before an issues becomes much larger and takes a lot longer to resolve.
