I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they had nothing but the best intentions when selling me the Brooklyn bridge

A software oriented company that has absolutely no idea how to build software. A 25 year old company that still considers itself a start up. Let's b-list contractors build the new software and then brings in a-list developers to sort through the ashes and take the blame. So much time is spent in crisis management that nothing else ever gets accomplished. Revolving door for most. I saw people who drank the Kool aid for years finally quit after a decade of doing the same job with no hope for advancement. And unbelievably I hear it has gotten worse since I left. The one C-level exec who was always honest, level headed, a listener and one who had your back has left.

From our CIO, Dan Trahan: It’s unfortunate that you weren’t able to recognize the opportunities the Sr. Software Developer position provides. Our team is open to ideas, and translating ideas into technical design and prototypes is what we look for in Sr. Development Engineers. We fully recognize that we aren’t in a start-up mode. In fact, after years of explosive growth, many of the systems that were developed early on are now being completely overhauled. That can be a painful process, yet we’re confident that we’ll end up with much better IT solutions that will fuel our continued growth. From our perspective, we’re building an incredible IT team. They have a passion for developing beautiful and elegant solutions. They love to share information, show others what they’ve accomplished, and can’t wait for the next challenge. We’re sorry you weren’t able to see it that way. BTW, we’re 17 years old--we just look like we’re 25 :-).

Phenomenal team of people to work with, who are always happy to help and give extra effort when situation calls for it.

Kontras

None come to mind. Staying current with regulations and changing healthcare landscape can be frustrating, but that's nothing to do with the company itself.

MICROMANAGEMENT OF FIELD NURSE'S, ineffective communication with managers and salaried employees, FCM Bonus Structure, reduction in billable hours, reduction in case load and lost accounts during acquisition, incorporating FCMs into the TCM world for how things are done and billed, NO marketing strrategies for Indiana, NO advancement opportunities, NO FCM recognition company wide, years of expertise doesn't matter, changing FCM role & responsibilities without a team discussion.
