Pros

RevJet has built the most insanely cool product on the market. It is the de facto standard for modern marketing creative and advertising professionals. By far the best end-to-end solution ever created. Working in the San Carlos is fun. The office atmosphere is friendly & relaxed. People dress casually, eat the supplied snacks & play a lot of ping pong. The daily lunches are one heck of a perk.

Kontras

The Industrial park that the office is in is going through a make over right now. So it's noisy, dusty and ugly. But don't let that dissuade you from finding RevJet. The company is run lean, so don't expect a purely silo'ed role. This is a startup & requires everyone to pitch in & wear many hats.

Superior, dedicated, kind, friendly and focused group of fellow employees - highly intelligent, qualified, driven and down to earth management.

Kontras

At RevJet we enjoy food and perks, so I struggle with controlling weight.

Pros

-Great health insurance packages -Catered lunch, or the option to expense your meal (under $13) -The non-management team is pretty fun to be around -Nice HR and Admin folks -Close to San Carlos / Redwood City Station -Cool product that could really find purpose for some

Kontras

-Good luck actually figuring out what anybody does. Almost 90% of the people that work at RevJet have some type of VP / Director title. Stop trying to use fancy titles when you don't actually need them. -A great deal of the sales leadership team comes from companies like Adobe and Oracle. Normally, this would be a good thing, but I feel as though they're bringing in some of the worst aspects that large companies like Adobe and Oracle have: micromanagement, wasteful meetings just because, and a lack of collaboration. During my last week there, I participated in a 2 day "sales meeting" where I was stuck in a dark room listening to powerpoint after powerpoint for nine hours each day (yes, that means working lunches). In total, we probably had about an hour or so total to collaborate. The rest of the meeting was just directive, and could have easily been made into a report / email instead of flying people in (internationally for some) just to hear you talk. -The CEO is a salesman at heart. Very smart and well spoken. The problem I had with him was that I never felt any sincerity during our discussions. I always felt like I was being sold to. Overall, seemed a bit shady. -No 401k match

This individual was employed with RevJet for less than 2 weeks. Regrettably, not all individuals and companies are good fits for one another. We sincerely wish him all the best in his future career endeavors.
