Pros
On the engineering team, you have the freedom to approach tasks as you see fit, with little-to-no interference or oversight. Although daunting at first, that autonomy allows you to develop into a very independent and able software developer. That's not to say that there isn't help when you need it. This is a team, and there's always assistance on-hand for if you're feeling overwhelmed. But whatever your ability level, there's a focus on growth and improvement through goal-setting and exposure to unfamiliar code. Much of what you develop is used by the negotiators and property managers, who work in the same office as part of this close-knit team, so you have regular and direct contact with the product’s end user. It’s a growing company in a rapidly developing industry, so it’s an exciting time to be here.
Kontras
Some people in the office have a very poor taste in music.
