I just want to say thank you so much to Matt for showing me what true leadership is about. I first experienced it in 2018, at an AGM, you really embodied what it means to be a leader and I have admired you and your work attitude ever since. It has been such a pleasure working with Rendall and Rittner. In all the jobs I have had, this is definitely the best one yet and I am so grateful for the opportunity. I truly believe Rendall and Rittner really do pride themselves on their key values and care about their employees. Although I am leaving, I hope this isn’t goodbye. I am proud to have been an employee here. I would also like to let you know that many people here have changed my outlook on life and how corporate world should be: Jane, Stephen, Belinda, Annette, Martin, Karen to name a few. They are excellent role models and I have learnt so much from them. R&R have so many good employees, you should pride yourself on them, I have enjoyed working with and I only hope that in my new job I work with people like this: Ruth, Kishan, Thomas, Paul, Scott, the list goes on! Again thank you so much for thinking of starting such a wonderful company 30+ years ago!

Not much of a downside personally, but workload can seem overwhelming sometimes however, there is always someone (a manager and an APM) to assist you with any issues you may have.

Pros

Less face-to-face interaction – Working from home can sometimes feel isolating compared to being in an office environment with regular team contact however this worked for me as it gave me more time at home for family life. Need for strong self-discipline – Home-based roles require good time management and personal organisation to stay productive without the structure of an office environment. This is sometime I had to develop.

The experience gained within the company can significantly strengthen an individual’s CV, reflecting both depth and breadth of industry knowledge that may not always be accessible elsewhere at an early stage. Employees also benefit from opportunities for professional growth and progression, supported by managers and mentors who can play a key role in developing confidence and capability.
