Where do I start. Reiss has to be the most disorganised and poorly structured company that I have ever worked for. No proper orientation or training was offered to me which set me up to struggle from the offset. I was often staying late doing work which my manager should have been doing while they were leaving on time most evenings. Not to mention that this was without thanks. Systems and processes are archaic and outdated which makes your job so much harder. Absolutely no investment in employee development or improving the business. This place a clearly an investment in David Reiss’ back pocket. I found that life became thousands of times better when I left that place as it is only since being treated so well in my new job that I am realising that how I was treated at Reiss was not normal or okay. I also found that the culture lacked any genuine ambition or drive. Upper management tend to be more interested in their own fragile egos rather than focusing on team building and improving business performance. I am genuinely gobsmacked that this business is survivng given how poorly run it is. goodbye and good riddance.
