Pros

You get to interact with a lot of different people each day.

Kontras

You are forced to become an irritating sales person and pitch to 100 people a day as they walk past you in a super market. The pay is a joke and they will not schedule you a full 40 hours so they don't have to offer you benefits. It is not marketing or management- it is sales. The turnover rate is extremely high. Their business model is closely related to that of a pyramid scheme.

Thanks for the feed back but I'm confused. Job defined: paid position of regular employment. check Never forced anyone to do anything... No positions in super markets After 1st week training then 35 plus hours. Pay reflects attendance and performance Sounds like our company not for you... Wish you the best

Pros

The only pro I can come up with is if you're a people person you are constantly interacting with people in Sam's club. So if you like to talk to strangers this is a positive aspect that will help with the job.

Kontras

You have to harass people into buying phone's, direct tv, and cox in Sam's club . The communication amongst management to employees is awful. You have to drive to Bentonville and Fayetteville four times a week in the morning for a meeting that could have been an email. Once the meeting is over depending on the schedule if you're scheduled for the morning shift you go straight to Sam's, if you're scheduled for the afternoon shift you have to wait a couple of hours and then go to Sam's to work so the meetings completely waste the day if you're scheduled for the afternoon. Each meeting is the same thing repeated over and over. My biggest con would be pay. $10/hr. Not worth it. You never know you're weekly schedule until Sunday so it is almost impossible to make any plans. When clocking in you have to take a selfie and picture of the time and upload them to an app. The app also tracks you. The interview hype's up the company and makes it seem like the most amazing place to work. PRO TIP: if it sounds too good to be true, it probable is.
