Pros
If you are looking for a technically challenging job, this is the place to work. It is a fast pace environment where you will not get bored. I have worked for several different companies doing engineering and this job more than any other requires a good well rounded knowledge of all areas of engineering (materials, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electric, and mechanical). We use all of these areas to design custom induction heating equipment and processes every day, plus you are constantly learning about induction heating, which is typically not taught in the universities. I like Radyne because it has a great team environment and there is an emphasis of working together as a team. Everyone there is working with one goal in mind of making Radyne better so that all employees profit more. Every employee is ready to step in and help his fellow employee get the job done. Of the different employees that I have worked for, this one has the least amount of internal politics.

If you are looking for a job that you can coast thru your day, this is not the place for you to work at. This is also not the place for you if you are not looking to learn every day and work with together with your fellow employees. At times hours can get to be long to meet deadlines and respond to customers in a timely fashion.
