Reoccurring and hushed layoffs; as employees we weren't allowed to ask the layoffs, even if our direct team was impacted, and when given an answer at an all hands it was vague. The company hopes to be purchased by Optum/UHG next year. UHG is having a bad year and it's impacting how RVO makes decisions. Lack of transparency from leadership on project priorities and when deadlines shift, we are not given more resources, the expectation is to work longer hours to get it done. Many of the strong DEI efforts have been scaled back. This coinsided with many companies decreasing investments in DEI programming and was disappointing to see how influenced RVO is by external politics.

Run... don't walk. It is so sad to think such an amazing company that treated its employees human like the content it produced would go down hill so fast. Way too many products, rebranding often with confusion in market. Instead of having team members that have put their heart and soul into RVOH grow and being appreciated, they have been replaced by freelancers. Everyone walks on eggshells wondering if they'll be next to get let go. The company is relying on AI way too much at this point. Expectations are way too high and people realize at this point they are just a number in paper. We are not "work family."
