This company is not employee centered. They do not give you engagement related information necessary to make informed decisions. A 6 month contract may include periods of up to two weeks at a time where the contractor is "furloughed" and not paid. Very inconvenient as there is only a week notice given that you will not be working and therefor not paid.
Pay is consistent and on time. They have gotten better over the years.

They do NOT work for you ... they work for their clients who they hire you to support. If it comes down to you (the employee) or the client (the employer) they well throw you under the bus every time. They hire you for a company that will furlough you for weeks at a time and not tell you. all of a sudden you are getting two weeks off at Christmas without pay. You usually get about 1 week notice that you will not be getting a paycheck. No time to plan for the lack of funds or get a good rate on a flight somewhere to take a vacation.
