Nothing, good for getting cheap office politics experience. If you are under the right team and manager, can get promoted up to director level, without abilities/efforts.
Kontras
Immatures becomes director/managers, by playing cheap politics across teams & geography. Bonus, variable pay is a mirage. Old technologies no knowledge sharing to maintain job security by incompetent seniors. Managers are mostly interested in managing their side business, parttime jobs, etc.
