The people who work in the stores are by far the best part of this company. Good, kind supportive people. The only other real pro is the 40% staff discount but even that is heavily monitored

Out of touch owner and incompetent upper management/board means there are constant issues put upon the teams in store from promo changes coming down at 4pm on a Friday to be set up for Monday, but you must focus on trade over the weekend, to constant moving of goalposts on which 5 million KPIs are tracked to meat bonus. Every day with ProCook there is some sort of issue that is created by upper management in the first place. Managers are also expected to cover other stores at sometimes a few days notice at the complete other end of the country, often having to pay for their own flights/train tickets to then claim back on expenses, which can often take 2/3 weeks to come back which is far from ideal or fair in today's climate. Anything good this company tries to do/offer is almost always performative and no change actually happens despite constant feedback from the people actually driving the business to customers.
