company give you brand name provide good facilities to employees

Mostly applicable for IKKT Chennai site; promotion is based on the face value not on the work done. To increase the face value you need to do boot licking to bosses. The person who works they only works rest do politics and enjoy. Company is busy in lot of cultural change works but bad part is in the committee only those people are there who is spoiling the culture. Managers are having huge ego problem.

Excellent pay and benefits, culture on-site was great before the two rounds of layoffs in 2023.

No HR oversight on-site, and HR is difficult to reach when needed. Two significant layoff rounds in a single calendar year were poor for morale. Some inexperienced managers demonstrated extremely unprofessional behavior, bordering on abuse, and should not have been in their roles. Culture of cronyism and incompetence among some of the employees who have worked there for decades was revealed following layoffs of >50% of the site. Toxic work environment with poor work-life balance for the final 8-9 months before the site was shut down.
