Pros

The other talent managers are great

Kontras

I would definitely stay away from this company. The base salary doesn’t even equal $40k a year for a talent manager with years of experience and the commission is not enough to make it worth it. Insane expectations and almost no support.

Pros

I have learned more in 7 months as an EA at a startup than I could anywhere else. Working alongside the CEO has helped deepen my knowledge and understanding of business as a whole, as well as challenged me both personally and professionally. Excited to see how I can grow and progress in my role here.

Kontras

Although it can be overwhelming wearing multiple hats, it has benefited my ability to multi-task and take on more and more responsibilities.

Pros

The talent management department is being held together by individuals doing their best in a broken system. A lot of great people there. That's part of why I signed on and because I believed what they sold me on. But unless you’re okay with being underpaid, unsupported, and complicit in misleading creators, stay far away The brand side may be ok, not sure, but any positive review re: management side is 100% fake

Kontras

The company offers zero resources to support talent managers. I mean ZERO. They exclusively offer exclusive management, but expect you to manage 40–60 creators (not exaggerating) with no tools, no CRM, no systems, and no onboarding whatsoever, again not exaggerrating, literally not even one onboarding call. It seems too crazy to be real and it felt that way. This is not a real agency. It’s clear the strategy is to bring in as many creators as possible just to get their inbound deals, not to actually develop or support talent. The interview process is incredibly deceptive and so is the pay. The culture is all about appearances. Leadership, particularly the CEO, is focused on optics and investor relationships, not internal operations. The CEO brags about big-name investors while paying his team minimum wage in Los Angeles. It’s smoke and mirrors. Investors should be ashamed to be associated with this company.
