Talk about progress and growth! Change is inevitable, and this company is on the up and ups for 2019! Change is buzzing around each of the offices: promotions, increases, transfers, new departments, and the list goes on! The atmosphere at every office is lively. When I was brought on board, I felt included as a part of the team immediately. The management teams across the organization are transparent with the goals they want to implement in each of their prospective departments. With every department playing a vital role in the company we have a newsletter each month to help highlight what each department is working on. I’ve only been at this company for a short while, but I can only see positives of working here. I am excited to expand on my career here!

I love meeting the employees face to face. If it wasn't so expensive, I wish I could continue to travel to all of the locations. This would allow for my department to look more inclusive and involved with the company.

Everyone leaves a "Bad" review after they leave a place and I think a lot of people forget the great things they observed when working at their previous company. Optanix was an incredible place to collaborate with some excellent individuals while developing really interesting tools and providing an excellent level of service to an interesting and diverse customer base. Keyword: WAS

Unfortunately, Optanix has devolved into a charade of chaos, deception, ambiguity, oppression, and stress. Employees who were once "A" tier contributors are being over worked to the point where they are barely delivering 10% of their previous output. The culture demands a 24/7 accessibility that completely disrupts any semblance of a work/life balance. Engineers are being mandated for double shifts and being forced to work weekend/night shifts despite seniority due to a diminishing workforce. Meanwhile, Executive Management blames their lack of hiring on "bad reviews" on company review sites. Its gone as far as the company pandering to new hire employees practically begging for good reviews to raise their rating. It's SUPER obvious which reviews these are and is an embarrassment to the employees that remain there.
