Pros

-People team has direct access to benchmarked compensation data for any role we need to fill. -We are given the greenlight to be highly transparent around compensation when speaking with potential employees from the onset of the conversation. Candidates love it and I love it. -Transparency is promoted across the board and employees are empowered to have frank conversations -Hard-working, smart team members -Leadership is very active about their efforts outside of the org and their efforts to impact change. They also share their learnings with the team regularly. -A mission that is impactful and a team that directly acts towards that goal with tangible results.

-Given it is fully remote, there is room to grow on the team-building side. ELT is making progress and teams are now running in-person team-building events, but would love to see more focus on the attendance of learning opportunities such as panel/conferences in this space at the all-company level.

OpenComp's atmosphere was incredibly supportive and pushed me to keep learning. The team is an incredible group of hardworking people and I really enjoyed my time here.

Pros

Great product, easy to sell to the right customer. HR will pretend to be nice and care about building culture until they have to fire people every quarter.

Literally has fired every single sales person that has ever worked there due to unrealistic quotas, expectations, and customer profiles.
