people are treated as robots, especially junior employees, while management is treated like gods. there is a cult of personality type situation, where criticism is not considered and qualitative work is punished instead of being rewarded. in order to advance in your career you need to have good interpersonal relationships, make yourself seen and promote your image constantly. I find this type of culture very malign for an organisation, as it does not allow for an honest "look in the mirror" and promotes people based on the wrong assets.
