Pros
Dog friendly office and that's literally it.
Kontras
They hired me one day a week. In that one day I had to catch up with a weeks worth of emails in the email chain to receive my brief (I'm neurodivergent), which literally took me all morning. I asked them to have the brief ready for me on the morning of the day I worked but this didn't happen, and I had to then locate my brief from 40+ emails in different parts of the sever and emails. No training or introduction was given in my role, nobody showed me where anything was on the server and I was blindly jumping into this position without any help from the company - they didn't even know what a graphic tablet was and I had to wait a week for them to provide me with one so I could work! The environment is quiet, and not very helpful staff. I kept asking the other graphic designer (who worked full time) where things were on the server as nobody had shown me, and she became short with me and very cold. So after 2 day of working there, I received an email to my private email saying they were letting me go because I was not working quick enough....remember they only hired me one day a week, expected me to finish 10 briefs in a day, and most of my morning was spend scrolling through emails trying to find what I needed to work on and looking through the server to find assets. ...Yes, instead of asking me if I was okay / what I needed for support (even though I did ask for briefs to be located in once place so I could jump straight into work on my only day), they send an email saying I was fired....coward move really. I'm unsure if this is classed as discrimination as I'm neurodivergent, and needed briefs to be in just one place, but the organisational skills this company has is absolutely appalling. The pay is atrocious and really doesn't match the amount of work they expect you to do. ...Nevertheless, I managed to get a new job right away as a designer with a big company (not naming who for anonymity) who asked me if I needed accommodations, put me on a two week induction and training, and pays 3X more than what this careless company offered.
