Pros
The people. Most of the people are kind and wanting to move the ball forward.
The time flexibility. The management team recognizes that they don't have alot to offer financially - but work life balance is free. They allow different work hours, a degree of remote flexibility, and a generous vacation benefit.
Safety of the employees and eliminating hazardous activities/situations has always been a high priority.
Kontras
It's not terribly inspiring. Working for a struggling company which is forced to make the hard decisions is not uplifting. The future at this location is pretty bleak at this exact moment. The last merit increase was in 2022. Therefore we're all working at a 15% discount based on cost of living changes.
