Pros

* Great office location(but not the office itself) * Modern hardware and technologies * Very versatile task allows to get experience fast

Lack of long-term vision from the upper echelons of the company as products are built with a proof-of-concept mentality cutting lots of corners, which it is okay to demonstrate the feasibility of an idea, as long later on it is rebuilt properly. However, what usually happens is that products are put in production are half-baked, based upon poor technical decisions, with a bundle of hacks. The company's motto is to "Get stuff done" as an hipster subliminal message to push everyone to deliver as fast as possible, at the expense of any process, quality standards, or proper testing. Which in plain contradiction to what the company projects outwards in its marketing material. Complete cognitive dissonance between what is said the company will do, and what it actually does: quality and customer is the number one focus, to reduce failures and downtime, however very little effort is done to remove the piles of technical debt accumulated over the years. Instead of hiring experienced engineers company hiring process works more in a “best-effort” manner. This is understandable from a cost perspective, but without experienced senior guidance the company setting itself for failure. From the last point, it does not take a rocket scientist to understand that the company pays salaries way below market value. It tries to mitigate that with "stock options" that are so far away in the future, with so many uncertainties in their valuation, that they have the same taste as monopoly money. Another point to mention is a “toxic” environments in the Infrastructure department which lead to high turn-over rate in department and as a result affects company business, but despite countless complains on the situation CA management absolutely neglects them and moreover people who is in charge of department destruction instead of being fired still keeps their position or even have promotion. Environments in other departments seems much better and mature, so I can only recommend to join the company if you willing to join them.

Thanks for the comments, both Pros and Cons. We are doing our best to improve the company processes and employee experience and satisfaction, which includes being aware of some of the challenges we are facing as a fast growing company, and being committed to solving them in the near future.

Pros

- The team is generally composed of talented and hardworking individuals. - Exposure to interesting projects and technologies.

Kontras

- The salary offered is not competitive, especially considering the demands of the job and the industry standards. This lack of adequate compensation makes it difficult to justify the workload. - There is very little support provided to new joiners. The onboarding process is minimal and largely consists of being handed documentation without much guidance. This can be particularly challenging when faced with unfamiliar tasks or new responsibilities. - Leadership seems more focused on assigning tasks than on leading and supporting their teams. Effective leadership, especially for newcomers, requires not just delegation but also mentorship and guidance, which was noticeably lacking.
