There used to be relative job security, and stable environment. There's none at all nowadays.
Kontras
Lack of technical expertise at higher management levels launching the organisation into multiple different directions without any support for meaningful talent growth. For some reason there's no CTO to pull the pieces together. All of this is breeding very entrenched positions, very high turnover, and a highly toxic environment.
