Covance has eliminated the only thing that has kept their employees around - the benefits. I have had more conversation with my new supervisor of 2 weeks than I had with my supervisor at Covance for 2.5 years. Extremely hostile work place. You'll be lucky to get a person to say good morning once per quarter - very unhappy employees. Management ignores daily animal welfare concerns but create issues out of thin air for employees that cost the company too much money. It's a true wonder how they get the number of clients they do. The work Covance does is entirely dependent on employee skill yet they seem to think a new hire fresh out of college will produce the same quality of results as a seasoned employee. Based on my tenure of 2.5 years alone, roughly one third of employees are let go for no apparent reason. Even after employment, management does everything in it's power to limit your growth in the industry. Don't be a Covance statistic, avoid at all costs.
