Pros

The company supports you to 'use your best judgement.' In general, I feel I am respected as professional and not micromanaged as I meet my KPIs which are always reasonable. The company also started an internal mentorship program to help us grow and focus on where to upskill and give us direction in our careers. The medical benefits are good and affordable and I like that you can do free on-demand virtual doctor visits for general visits. I feel fairly compensated as my salary is slightly above the market average which is expected due to my past experience. The company looks like it will continue being fully remote for the time being. There was an attempt to go hybrid in 2024 which they opted to no go forward with.

Kontras

No stipend for continued education.

Pros

- Flexible working arrangements, remote but there is an office if you wish to go in. - Lots of opportunities to work on interesting projects and have visibility. - Kind and genuine exec team. The structure feels flat and everyone is very approachable. - Everyone is responsive, helpful and solutions focused. - Great HR function - we had a company retreat last year, there is a mentorship program.

Kontras

- The US team only has so much control over the product and strategy, since the HQ is in Sydney -Work is relatively fast-paced, but its reasonable compared to most other workplaces.

Pros

LEAP has what use to be a strong product and a huge market presence, especially in the legal-tech space. The work itself can be interesting, and many colleagues across regions are talented, driven, and genuinely want to help clients. The challenges are mostly global culture.

Kontras

There is little consistency across teams, and a lot depends on which manager you end up with. Burnout is extremely common. HR is not willing to address issues, so problems repeat. It’s not an environment where people feel supported, and internal behaviour doesn't reflect the values advertised publicly.
