Pros
- Flexible work when on call (You can make yourself unavailable 24 hours before the shift starts. You just might be calles less often or not at all if you do it too often) - Get hands on some new games before they are ready - Easy summer job (If you really just want to do it for the summer, go for it. You'll probably work a lot and the rest doesn't matter. If you intend to work here fulltime, think about it twice.)
Kontras
- Management cares little about wellbeing of employee. - Low salary (13-14$ per hour as a normal tester) - Unsecure work (New employees usualy start on call. Older employees get contracts, but when there is no project, the company does not manage to use the ressources properly) - Zero talent management. Management does not know who they are working with, what goals these people have, what strengthes and weaknesses. Your past (Education and work experience) is not taken into account and not paid for either. - Employee 'happiness' is bought with free fruits, affordable coffee and doughnuts once every 2 weeks.
