Experience depends on department - Specialist bei Kettering University: Mitarbeiterbewertung

My experience was largely negative, however that was due to my direct supervisor who was verbally abusive towards me, and directly told me nobody would believe my concerns. This proved to be true when I went to their supervisor to discuss this (as HR policy) and their supervisor did not respond to my request, however they informed my direct supervisor I was trying to contact them. Under a different supervisor, or a different department (though other individuals in this department were pleasant) this probably would not have occurred, however even after notifying the university of what took place in my resignation letter nothing was done to the supervisor and they still work there to this day. I was told I was unable to have a nose piercing and/or unnatural colored hair, as it was unprofessional (individuals in other departments had these things). The pay was low. I was a college graduate and was compensated at roughly $15/hr.
