Pros

There are a small group of people that I couldn’t recommend more as great people and coworkers. If you’re lucky enough to work with them, you’ll have fun, learn, and accomplish things.

Kontras

- Upper management has personal conflict between themselves that clouds their view of decisions that should be objective business decisions - Many people prefer to pass along work, knowing that the key to career advancement at Invoca is to talk about what you will do instead of what you actually have done or are doing - Total lack of trust between departments. For a smallish company, that prides itself on “culture” and winning awards for the best place to work (an award that definitely isn’t given because they pay for the survey the company provides) every department thinks their counterparts are lazy, incompetent, and self centered. Is everyone right? Is no one right? It doesn’t matter because you stay in your silo with your own group thinkers. - Hope you like slack huddles and zoom calls! You’ll be in 500 slack groups that you can’t mute because once a quarter you’ll receive a ping in each random group that suddenly you need to respond to ASAP. - expect every new project to be poorly defined, pushed by their manager, and then be immediately put on the back burner as soon as a new shiny project is brought up.

Pros

- Strong product market fit that is continuing to evolve - The company culture is collaborative, and there are opportunities to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams. - Leadership communicates company strategy well, and employees have visibility into business performance. - The organization values innovation and is willing to invest in new initiatives and technologies. - GTM leadership does a great job of acknowledging the accomplishments and impact to company for both quota baring and non-quota baring employees

Kontras

- Processes and systems have improved over time but still require greater standardization to support efficient growth - Work-life balance is generally good, especially compared to many fast-growing technology companies.

Pros

’ve been fortunate to work at several great companies throughout my career, but Invoca has the strongest culture I’ve experienced. The people genuinely care about one another’s success, and there is a level of collaboration and partnership across teams that is rare to find. What stands out most is the leadership team. They don’t just talk about supporting employees—they actively invest time, energy, and resources into helping individuals and teams grow. Whether it’s removing obstacles, providing coaching, encouraging innovation, or creating opportunities for development, leadership consistently shows up as true partners. From a business perspective, it’s an incredibly exciting time to be here. Invoca has continued to expand its AI-powered product portfolio in meaningful ways that solve real customer challenges. The pace of innovation is impressive, and it’s energizing to work for a company that is embracing AI not as a buzzword, but as a core part of its strategy and customer value. The company also does an excellent job of aligning teams around common goals while still empowering people to take ownership and make an impact. There is a strong sense that everyone is rowing in the same direction and helping one another succeed.

Kontras

Like any fast-growing company, priorities can evolve quickly as we continue to innovate and respond to market opportunities. That can create occasional change and ambiguity and to some that can be overwhelming, but leadership is generally transparent about the reasons behind decisions and works hard to keep teams aligned.
