      They leave you alone for 2 years after acquisitions. Bonuses were good for the first 2 years.

      IFS acquired P2 Energy and mostly left it alone for 2 years. Soon after 2 years, they cut about half the staff and decided to increase the headcount by hiring offshore resources in Sri Lanka. They promised additional resources to everyone, but did not specify it would come at the risk of layoffs for half the company.
