On the whole, HSBC promotes a strong community culture and the company is very involved in environmental issues, helping the homeless and general community welfare. There is a great sense of hubris stemming from HSBC's accomplishments outside of banking.

On a micro-level, I find many employees, simply because of the sheer size of the organization, may feel that his/her division is poorly managed.
