*Note that am a hybrid employee* - Flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week and unlimited PTO - Good benefits (Medical/dental/401k)! Additionally, I enjoy the extra initiatives they do like the health fair, mental health awareness month activities, and 401k workshops. - Company invests in personal learning and development, Corporate encourages employees to get certifications and will reimburse you once you receive them. - Office amenities: complimentary sodas/drinks, complimentary coffee bar with a barista, free lunch every Tuesday, fun engagement events (happy hours, coffee socials, celebrations etc.) Pet friendly days (M,W,F). - The people who work here are genuine and helpful. I haven't met a person who wouldn't help should I encounter any obstacles. - I’ve had more frequent interaction with this C-suite than in previous roles. They’ve been approachable and my experiences engaging with them have been consistently positive. - I feel fairly compensated and the opportunity for growth is there should you wish to explore leadership roles or roles in different departments. There are also opportunities to be recognized by management or peers through our points reward platform which you can redeem for gift cards.

Be prepared to take on responsibilities that may be out of your scope. The company culture really promotes a “pitch in where needed” mentality, so you may find yourself taking on tasks outside your official job description. I don’t view this as a con—rather, it’s an opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities and grow. However, it might be a drawback for those who prefer to stay strictly within their defined role. While this level of flexibility might not suit everyone, I find it reassuring to know that support is always within reach when needed.

Pros

My experience at GDT has been genuinely positive. I truly feel supported by my peers and team, and we have a collaborative and communicative culture. In my tenure, I've had opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute, and would gladly recommend GDT to others.

We do run lean teams. This can be challenging, but does help us develop focused, high performing teams.

The work schedule is flexible is really about all.

The biggest issue is leadership. There is a lack of direction, consistency, and long-term planning. The work environment often feels chaotic, with priorities changing constantly and processes that are either unclear or nonexistent. Instead of developing employees and building stable teams, management too often reacts to problems after they occur. Job security is another major concern. Employees can go from working one day to being laid off the next with little warning, making it difficult to trust the company's commitment to its workforce. **My review reflects my personal experience. At the same time, I encourage anyone reading these reviews to look for recurring themes instead of relying solely on the overall rating. Multiple perspectives often provide a clearer picture of what it's like to work here.**
