I worked at Netcetera in Macedonia for some amount of time, and I can say that it is one of the worst professional environments. The internal culture in Netcetera is toxic, disrespectful and unprofessionalism,. The company is run like a private club for a small group of long term employees. it is not a company that values talent or innovation. It is about loyalty to these people in charge, no matter how incapable they are. This is because the Skopje office of Netcetera is completely disconnected from headquarters in Switzerland and operates under the control of these handful of employees who have been with the company for years. These individuals make all the decisions and have created a closed atmosphere where they do not allow anyone to be employed in Netcetera unless is somehow connected with them. Also they have invented positions for themselves that have no connection to the company actual needs or structure. These made up roles serve only to make them feel important, while doing nothing to contribute meaningfully to the business of Netcetera. They get away with this because they are untouchable by higher management due to the distance between the Skopje office and corporate headquarters in Switzerland. If you want to work in a place where your career is controlled by a small group of unqualified individuals, where your voice doesn't matter, and where the internal atmosphere is suffocating, then this might be the place for you.
