Pros
Working at the hotel had a few solid positives: flexible scheduling, great coworkers, a diverse culture, and sometimes free food. Most of the time, the team and even the guests are easy to get along with, which makes the day smoother... that’s about it.
Kontras
Where do I start? Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. Management doesn’t care, they’re disorganized, communication between departments is terrible, and there are no benefits. Pay is low—you can’t survive unless you have two jobs, but if you do, they might cut your hours or let you go. Corporate is rude, never introduces themselves, and the GM hides in the office while other managers handle everything. There’s no leadership or support, especially for front desk staff. The Tiki bar is their only focus, not the employees or guests. To top it off, parking is a mess—employees are forced to park blocks away, and they threaten to tow staff who park on-site. Completely backwards.
