Pros
They have an open layout, so it's really easy to get ahold of people. People are generally friendly, and they all want the newspaper to succeed. The environment isn't overly competitive.
Kontras
The management doesn't do a great job at teaching new people. I'm not talking about things that you should already know coming in. I'm talking about how to access documents, where things are, passwords, etc. They also don't feel like you are needed there or appreciated. The management seems to expect everybody to be focused on work, even while at home. They don't promote a good work/life balance.
