Pros

The Only Pro is that they offer great pay, which is more like a bait to lure in talent who is doing great in their existing jobs. Trust me, one fine evening you'll get a call from HR saying "Today was your last working day" and this will be within 4-5 months from your joining.

Kontras

Hire and Fire Culture Extreme expectations of founders No proper onboarding or educating new employees on the product, and expecting them to leverage their own industry connections to hit numbers. Favourism by not providing any new leads to the business development team and only sharing it with some so-called "Head of Sales"(Only God knows who they are heading, as there's no structure or hierarchy. And when you finally use one of your connections, these "Head of Sales" would come in and poach your lead by saying that they have connected with them previously. Work-life balance is non-existent.

Pros

Collaborative teammates who genuinely support each other’s growth and learning. Strong ownership culture – you get to design, build, and ship meaningful features end‑to‑end. Leadership is approachable and open to feedback, making it easy to discuss ideas and concerns. Good exposure to modern backend technologies and architecture, which really accelerates learning. Healthy work environment with flexibility when needed and a generally respectful, trusting culture.

Kontras

Fast‑paced environment may feel intense at times, especially around major releases and product launches. Processes are still evolving, so some structure and documentation can be improved as the company scales. Because you get a lot of ownership, there’s a learning curve for juniors who are new to production systems. Cross‑team communication can occasionally be a bit slow, but it’s been improving over time. Benefits and perks are decent, but there is room to make them more competitive as the company grows.
