Pros
You get really good at dialing a phone. If you want to learn the virtue of patience, this place is great to learn it, because believe me, even your "live" leads don't want to talk to you. Have fun leaving those voice mails 100-150 times a day! I would have given this company one star, however there are a few cool people in the office and like once every few months they buy a keg for the office on a Friday, if Larry (the CEO) feels like he can spare it.
Kontras
You won't make a wage you can live on unless you literally don't have bills. The average salary listed on this site is a joke. The starting pay is more like $1200 a month. They take no interest in their employees, there is no such thing as commission here, and you're going to learn to absolutely hate your job by about the 3rd week out of training (if you make it that far, average life span of an employee is like a month). This place is a puppy mill, hire and fire, churn and burn, get a sale or get out. The product you sell is a joke, be ready to lie and do whatever it takes to close the deal. Why you should try closing deals is beyond me, you'll never be compensated for a single one. This fear fueled dial-a-palooza is a great way to earn some experience on your way to a real job, but I recommend you have a second gig on the side so you can keep your lights on. If you read a positive review on this site, just know it was paid for in the form of a Starbucks gift card. Management is so incompetent they can't even offer a bribe of REAL money. How there has not been a class action lawsuit against this criminal enterprise yet is baffling. Lastly, get ready to work in the most egregious metrics environment you've ever seen. What's more important, making 150 calls a day that mean absolutely nothing other than a mark in the CRM, or actually having valuable interactions with potential clients? If you guessed mindlessly dialing, YOU WIN! Do yourself a favor, and don't apply, don't accept the offer, don't become another number on their spreadsheet, because believe me, if you can breathe and you can talk, you'll get offered a job. How else will they fill the vacancies of the 5-10 people they fire each week? In summary, this is not a real job, they don't care about you, get ready for busy work, and just don't do this to yourself.
