Where to start! Unfortunately there is an ingrained boys club so lots of cronyism when trying to progress. If your face fits you are fine but if not then forget it. There is a complicated management structure that confuses customers and frustrates employees. Customers are treated with contempt and the level of customer service is poor from all areas of the business which is embarrssing when you are trying to service accounts and win new business. Essity have become arrogant and believe they deserve new business but do nothing to keep hold of it! Redundancies have left employees feeling worthless.

Pros

-Essity is a great company overseas, just awful in the U.S. -Good co-workers, and that's really it

-Bad management (worst I've ever worked under) -Bad benefits -Machines are literally falling apart with management not caring a single bit about actually fixing them -No work-life balance -Rotating shifts (days-to-nights/nights-to-days every two weeks) -Culture is awful -No avenue for advancement -The union is a "union" in name-only -Overtime system is terrible -As an operator, you do 80% of the maintenance work despite having actual maintenance that makes $10 an hour more than you
